Lourdes Mount Public School follows the syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and the medium of instruction is English. We are affiliated to the CBSE and the school has classes upto the Senior Secondary level.
Lourdes Mount Public School follows assessment of both scholastic and co-scholastic areas and written examinations are conducted according to the timetable set down by the CBSE Board. The scholastic and co-scholastic aspects of the students are evaluated throughout the academic year. Results declare at the end of the year are final in all cases and will not be re-considered.
According to the CBSE new pattern of examination each subject has a total of 100 marks, where 80 marks is assigned for written examination and 20 marks as internal assessment. Classes upto 8, written Examinations are conducted twice a year as Half Yearly Examination and Yearly Examination including 2 Periodic Tests.
