The school celebrates and observes all National festivals and also some special important days with cultural programmes, speech, recitation, seminars, debates, conducting competitions like essay writing, drawing, news reading, quiz etc. We start our academic year with ‘Prevesanothsavom’ to welcome new comers to their new home with pleasure. After the House Investiture Ceremony, we celebrate Arts festival and Annual sports meet every year in order to give chance to all students to participate in various items to bring up the real sportsman spirit in them. Students are divided under four houses - Emerald, Opal, Ruby and Sapphire led by their respective house captains. Students take part in all the competitions with the identity of their respective houses.
The school observes important days like World Environment Day, Reading Day, St. Thomas Day, Hiroshima Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, National Anti Tobacco Day, Keralapiravi, Children’s Day, Republic Day with various programmes. We celebrate Onam, Id-ul-Fitar, Christmas with great pomp and pleasure. Our celebrations end with the Annual Day every year.
School has different Clubs include Language Club, Arts Club, Science Club, Social Science Club, IT Club, and Committees like Cultural Committee, Problem Solving Committee, and Health and Physical Education Committee. All these clubs and committees promote various co-curricular activities in our school. They coordinate and conduct various activities like Reading Celebrations, Arts Exhibition, Nutritious Food Fest, Seminars, Doctor’s Visit, Field Trip, Exhibitions, Film Fest etc. All these activities ensure both physical and mental health of our children.
Assembly is a great way to bring the school together. As a part of our efforts to ensure confidence, self esteem and creativity and to face all kinds of situations, we conduct our class assemblies on Thursdays. Students of each class can get an opportunity to showcase their multifaceted personality. Special Assemblies are conducted on special occasions other than class assemblies.
To nurture the inborn talents of the blooming buds, our school introduced School Radio Station on 2 July, 2018 onwards. Each class has to showcase its programs on Mondays and Fridays during lunch break.
